2014 Women's History GazetteThere are plenty of opportunities to rock the cradle and add your spirit to celebrations of Women’s History Month. The best suggestion is to visit the events calendar of LetsRockTheCradle. Your location will determine which events jump out at you. The calendar focuses on locations included in the geographic “Cradle” of the U.S. women’s rights movement. And even if you’re not in a position to check out some of these remarkable events, take a look anyway because sooner or later you’ll be on the road to visit many of these pivotal historic sites. The National Women’s History Project will have its gala reception and dinner on March 27, 2014 at 5:30 p.m. at the Willard Hotel in the nation’s Capitol, as well as a Washington, DC bus tour of women’s historic sites. “Wild Spirits: Songs and Stories of Remarkable Adirondack Women” is a program scheduled for this weekend, as well as “The Iroquois Influence on Woman’s Rights.” Consult with the calendar as it’s loaded with celebrations, exhibits, lectures and more. You can also search the “Cradle” calendar by category. If you have an upcoming event, please send it along: LetsRockTheCradle@gmail.com
