Virtual Convention Days 2020 in Seneca Falls, NY will consist of  a series of online programs July 17-19, all of which can be accessed through the park website athttp://www.nps.gov/wori.

The weekend event will begin with a live broadcast on July 17, 2020 at 11 a.m. by Acting Superintendent Andrea DeKoter, followed by a keynote presentation by Elizabeth Cady Stanton descendant Coline Jenkins. This year’s Convention Days theme is “Legacies of Our Foremothers.” Speakers include author Penny Coleman, Dr. Laura Free, the Highlight Pro Skydiving Team, and a special performance of Shout! Poetry for Suffrage by Susanna Rich.

There are special programs about Edna Buckman Kearns and her “Spirit of 1776” suffrage wagon that’s part of the permanent collection at the New York State Museum in Albany, NY this fall.

Watch for details about the suffrage history special exhibit in September 2020 sponsored by the Historical Society of Woodstock. Marguerite Kearns and Peg Johnston are the presenters.
