You can enter Seneca Falls, NY national park contest no matter where you live!

Elizabeth Cady Stanton 200th birthday, November 12, 2015, is being celebrated all year at the Women’s Rights National Historical Park in Seneca Falls, NY. An on-going “Selfie with Stanton” contest is generating a spirited response on line at the Park’s website (http://www.nps.gov/wori/learn/historyculture/ecs-200.htm) Prizes are awarded April 12, July 12, and November 12. The photo with the most likes on the Park’s Facebook page wins a copy of Stanton’s memoir, “Eighty Years and More,” signed by her great-great granddaughter, Coline Jenkins.

The rules are simple: Take a selfie with anything Stanton, such as her house (or an image thereof), a book, photo, a living history actor, a statue, a namesake, a voting booth—anything that brings Stanton to mind. E-mail your selfies to WORI_information_desk@nps.gov and they will be posted to Facebook at WomensrightsNPS. Have your friends like your selfie and win the book and other “awesome” prizes every month this year. The Women’s Rights National Historical Park is releasing a new trading card honoring Stanton’s 200th birthday. Collect them all!
